Washington
We support several projects for the good of our community with an emphasis on education. We are proud of the number of hours we volunteer. We actively take a roll in backing our IRTA team in their efforts to strengthen our position with the state legislature. We are located in rural southern Indiana, 35 miles north of Kentucky. We are a small, but mighty group of retired teachers who bank 10,000 plus hour of volunteer services each year. We have 83 regular paid members of IRTA.
School Districts Represented
Salem Community Schools, West Washington Schools, East Washington Schools
May, September and December. We send a letter with the meeting time, date and place three weeks before each meeting.
