Our Executive Director is our active lobbyist in the General Assembly. You have a voice in the Legislature through our involvement with legislators and testimony on pension legislation.

Pay it Forward with Our Foundation
We help future educators. Our IRTA Foundation helps future Indiana teachers benefit from our scholarship programs.
We help retired teachers in need. Our A Hand UP program offers a one-time benefit to retired educators that have run into financial difficulties and need a financial assistance up to $1,000.
We help current teachers. Our Active Teacher Grants provide up to $500 to assist programs in their classrooms.
