BBQ Brie-ng In The New Year

November 16, 2021

Getting friends and family together is just the start for a great holiday get-together. You want to create a holiday to remember, and that means offering something unique and delicious. Have we got a treat for you!

This BBQ Brie with Raspberries recipe is easy to make, bursting with flavor, and the perfect snack that makes 4 to 6 servings.

What You Need:

2 Cups Fresh Raspberries

1/3 Cup Red Wine Vinegar

1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar

Pinch Red Pepper Flakes

1 Small Wheel Brie Cheese

Crackers

Steps:

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Soak a small cedar plank in water for 1 hour.
  • Add raspberries, red wine vinegar, brown sugar, and pinch of red pepper flakes to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer for 25 minutes until thick.
  • Put the wheel of brie in the center of the cedar plank. Scoop the raspberry syrup on top. Place the plank with cheese away from the flames of the grill. Cover the lid and cook for 20 minutes or until the brie is soft and oozy to the touch. Remove from the grill and serve directly from the plank with crackers.

This recipe is low-sodium, takes less than 2 hours to make, and can easily be expanded depending on the number of guests!

Your friends at AMBA wish you and your loved ones the best this holiday season and a happy new year. We look forward to seeing you in 2022!
